Pulse Check Event at Frome Community Hospital’s ten year anniversary, 20th October 2018

Frome’s Mayor, Richard Ackroyd, cycled over to mark the occasion. While he was there he volunteered to have a rhythm check using one of the AliveCor mobile ECG monitors. Fortunately for Richard there was no evidence of AF.

Several people attending the celebration came to the Pulse Check Station at Frome Community Hospital. By utilising the portable AliveCor ECG monitor, I was able to check for AF on the spot. These events are are great opportunity to raise awareness and pass on a little bit of information about AF and pulse checks.
