New sponsors for AF Frome. The Friends of Frome Hospital have offered their support in 2019!

Local charity group, The Friends of Frome Hospital, have offered to cover all group expenditure for 2019. The group‘s aim is to keep services local and have always shown a keen interest in this AF project. In fact, it was their initial financial input which enabled the first AF Awareness event to take place in November 2017. This led directlily to the idea of establishing a support group for AF patients.

Since the group began in June 2018, uptake has increased and feedback is extremely positive. We have had excellent input from a number of health professionals and many more ideas to, hopefull, maintain interest for further meetings.

I am looking forward to continued success and hope that more people will benefit from coming along to meetings.
